If you are already using MAMP / MAMP PRO 2.1.3 and are having problems with my.cnf, please return temporarily to MAMP / MAMP PRO 2.1.2 (this version is no on the download page again).

We try to solve this problem so that we can release a new version soon.

Hi,

yes you can. But you've to run Apache and MySQL on non standard ports. You can define the ports in the preferences of MAMP.

Hi,

the "it works" message came from the build in Apache of Mac OS X. To disable this one please go to the System Preferences of Mac OS X, switch to "Sharing" and disable "Web Sharing" (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3323).
