Markus Weimar has let it be known and provided information is a really helpful and brief guide on how to evaluate AWStats installed with the MAMP for local web server log files. Everything is described step by step - you can really go wrong.

Thanks Highway of Life

I did the compilation described in the first link.

I could not get it to work under Snow Leopard ... but luckily I have a Leopard install and it compiled fine and I extracted the zip.so file (as I had done in the past)

I think the same file was produced for both versions of zip.so that were created for the php5.2 and 5.3 versions.

Is the showing of zip and zlib areas within php.info proof that they are installed ok?

The compilation process described in the list was of help to me. I had the normal run of it.

I collectively described as the first link.

I can not get it to work under Snow Leopard ... (In the past has been that) Fortunately, I also wrote and I have Leopard I set up, I extracted the files zip.so

I, I zip.so same file version is designed for versions 5.3 and PHP5.2 are ready expectations.

Location of zlib and launch the test area established php.info?
