MAMP PRO circumventing startApache.sh?

Postby jkhoffman » Sun Jan 03, 2010 10:09 pm

Hello,

I've configured my MAMP PRO installation for SSL, including editing /Applications/MAMP/bin/startApache.sh so that it uses 'startssl' instead of just 'start'.

When I run it by hand, at the shell, everything works fine.

But when I click the Start button in MAMP PRO, startssl isn't being called, so SSL isn't active.

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm having the same problem.
Can't find the startup script from MAMP Pro to add startssl

If I adjust /Applications/MAMP/bin/startApache.sh and launch it command line, then "normal" MAMP gets started instead of MAMP Pro :(

I just got an answer from the MAMP Pro support help desk.
Follow this tutorial http://www.rockettheme.com/blog/coding/ ... h-mamp-pro
and you should be ok.
That way you don't have to touch your startApache.sh file

It worked for me.
