MongoDB support.

Post by FrenkyNet » Fri 2. Mar 2012, 10:28

It would be great to have MongoDB support right out the box.
A lot has happened in the PHP developer landscape. MongoDB is one of those things
that really has a big impact. Now you'd have to hack in the MongoDB extension and
have to get Mongo running yourself or hack the starting into the apache/mysql startup
procedures, all very suboptimal.

Is this something we can expect?

Cheers,
Frank

Hi,

adding MongoDB to MAMP / MAMP PRO is on our road map (http://bugs.mamp.info/view.php?id=4200). But I can not tell any date (it is not scheduled yet).

I also need to use MongoDB, or at least be able to install php_mongo module. Any update on this?

Thanks

Frank how do you do this?
I suppose I would need a professional system administrator to achieve this isn't it?
